Bound is a series of images exploring visual manifestations of disconnection, redundancy and futility.
Produced during a time of personal aimlessness, the body of work shown here was created through exploration of land soon to be transformed by the HS2 rail development.
Each one of these objects or forms exists as a kind of precious monument; some reflect a character or human interaction, while others evidence a past function or necessity. All share the same truth: a finite lifespan with an absolute end date.
The termination of these bound forms and the spaces they inhabit will coincide with the single largest transformation to the rural British landscape seen in a generation - a 300 mile long scar.
